I-          CONSULAR VISA

Submission of applications

Applications can be submitted individually or collectively through the focal points designated by AFREXIMBANK Bank.

Only participants whose names appear on the lists sent by the central administration may submit visa applications.

Composition of the file

•          Completed and signed visa application form;

•          Passport with at least 6 months of validity;

•          Photocopy of passport pages containing personal information;

•          Document attesting to the validation of registration on the IATF 2025 platform;

•          2 recent passport photos;

•          Payment of visa fees;

•          Hotel reservation**;

•          Return flight booking**.

** Failing this, the interested parties can submit their applications and provide these two documents when collecting their visas.

Visa processing and validity

Holders of diplomatic passports, service passports and passes of regional and international organizations are subject to the usual procedures for applying for an entry visa. The exemption is dependent on the existence of a visa waiver agreement for holders of these types of travel documents.

The processing time must not exceed one week.

Regarding the validity of visas, diplomatic and consular posts will issue visas as follows:

-           For individual participants: one-month tourist visa with a single entry to cover only the period of the event (valid from August 15 to September 15);

-           For exhibitors: 03-month business visa with multiple entries;

-           Employees who are members of the bank's delegations who have to travel to Algeria several times for work meetings: 06-month multiple-entry business visa.

II-         VISAS ON ARRIVAL

For duly justified exceptional cases, visas on arrival will be issued.

Conditions of Issuance

All foreigners arriving in the national territory are required to present themselves to the competent authorities responsible for monitoring at border crossings with a valid travel document accompanied by a consular visa.

However, in case of emergency, the Border Court can exceptionally issue a regularization visa to a foreigner who presents himself at the border posts without a visa.

This measure concerns foreign nationals whose country of residence does not have diplomatic and consular representations.

Composition of the file:

1-         regularization visa application form;

2-         valid passport (more than 06 months);

3-         copy of passport pages tracing personal information;

4-         documents proving the application for entry into Algerian territory (document attesting to the validation of registration on the IATF 2025 platform);

5-         payment of visa fees set out in Article 48 of the 2025 Finance Law;

6-         proof of accommodation in the national territory (hotel reservation);

7-         return ticket.

In order to allow him to board a flight to an Algerian airport, the participant concerned by the visa on arrival must imperatively have in his possession a boarding certificate issued by the competent services of our ministerial department.
