The President of the Republic holds talks in Moscow with the Russian Prime Minister

MOSCOW - President Abdelmadjid Tebboune met Wednesday in Moscow with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin as part of his state visit to the Russian Federation, at the invitation of his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin.

The meeting took place at the headquarters of the Russian Prime Minister's Office, in the presence of delegations from both countries.

Before the meeting, the President of the Republic had chaired the opening of the Algerian-Russian Economic Forum with the participation of 70 Algerian economic operators and 200 Russian businessmen.

A Forum to allow operators from both countries to examine investment and partnership opportunities, and strengthen bilateral cooperation to inject a strong dynamic into economic relations between Algeria and Russia.

President Tebboune also inaugurated the commemorative stele of the founder of the Algerian State, Emir Abdelkader, the first of its kind erected in the city of Moscow in memory of a Muslim and Arab leader, in recognition of his contributions and his role in spreading the values of tolerance, dialogue of religions and the principles of humanity.
