Mr. Chaib receives a group of children from the Algerian National Community Abroad participating in the second session of the 2026 Summer Camps

The Secretary of State to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, in charge of the National Community Abroad, Mr. Sufyan Shaib, welcomed today at the Ministry’s headquarters, a group of children from the Algerian diaspora participating in the second session of the 2026 summer camps—now in their fourth edition—organized in accordance with directives from the country’s highest authorities aimed at fostering a sense of belonging and national identity among them.

This meeting provided an opportunity to engage with the children and hear their impressions of this unique experience, which offers them a space to get to know one another, exchange ideas, discover Algeria, and benefit from meaningful educational, cultural, and recreational programs, thereby helping to strengthen their ties to their homeland and its cultural and civilizational heritage.

As part of efforts to expand the reach of this national initiative to benefit the largest possible number of children from our diaspora abroad, a third session will be organized from August 16 to 27, 2026.
