Mr. Chaib, alongside the Minister of Knowledge Economy and Startups, chairs a videoconference meeting with members of the Algerian community in Saudi Arabia.

This event is part of a series of regular meetings organized with members of our community residing in this sister country. It provided an opportunity to highlight the facilities and incentive mechanisms adopted by the state to support the developmental role of our citizens abroad in their homeland by harnessing their expertise and skills in various fields related to innovation, startups, and entrepreneurship, as well as to review the latest developments in national policy in this promising field.

During his remarks on this occasion, the Secretary of State reaffirmed the central importance that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and its diplomatic and consular missions attach to supporting and accompanying members of our diaspora abroad and strengthening their ties to the homeland, highlighting the ongoing commitment to providing the optimal framework to support expatriate entrepreneurs and businesspeople in order to encourage them to contribute actively to the country’s economic dynamism.

For his part, the Minister of the Knowledge Economy, Startups, and Microenterprises outlined the key incentives and support mechanisms adopted by the state to promote investment and entrepreneurship, calling on entrepreneurs and businesspeople from our national community residing in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to take advantage of the promising opportunities offered by Algeria’s revitalized business climate.

The meeting featured a presentation on the startup and entrepreneurship ecosystem in Algeria, followed by in-depth discussions during which members of our national community reaffirmed their interest and readiness to contribute effectively to the nation’s development.

As part of efforts to maintain ongoing communication with members of the Algerian diaspora abroad, the Secretary of State to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, in charge of the Algerian diaspora abroad, Mr. Sofiane Chaib, via videoconference, together with the Minister of the Knowledge Economy, Startups, and Microenterprises, Mr. Noureddine Wadah, presided over an extensive meeting hosted by the Algerian Embassy in Riyadh and the Algerian Consulate General in Jeddah with a group of our citizens residing in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
