Mr. Attaf received by Belarusian President

As part of his official visit to the Republic of Belarus, the Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, the National Community Abroad, and African Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Ataf, was received this morning by His Excellency the President of the Republic of Belarus, Mr. Alexander Lukashenko.

On this occasion, the Minister of State conveyed the greetings of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, to his Belarusian counterpart, along with his best wishes for good health and happiness, and for further progress and prosperity for the people of the Republic of Belarus.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed the remarkable momentum in relations between the two countries in light of the progress made in implementing the outcomes of the official visit by the President of the Republic of Belarus to Algeria in December 2025.

In a statement to the press following the meeting, Minister Ataf highlighted the progress made in implementing bilateral commitments and emphasized President Abdelmadjid Tebboune’s commitment to working with his Belarusian counterpart to elevate relations between the two countries to broader horizons and higher levels, in the service of the interests of both nations and their friendly peoples.
