Mr. Attaf chairs ceremony of unveiling commemorative plaque at Consulate General of Algeria in Tunis

At the end of his official visit to the sisterly Republic of Tunisia, the Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, chaired this morning the ceremony of unveiling a commemorative plaque at the headquarters of the Consulate General of Algeria in Tunis, which had housed the offices of the Ministry of Armament and General Liaisons (MALG) of the Provisional Government of the Algerian Republic (GPRA).
This initiative, which is part of the implementation of the directives of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, for “the preservation of the National Memory, aims to “pay tribute to the sacrifices of the members of the MALG, among the valiant martyrs and the valiant freedom fighters, and to their tireless efforts during the glorious Liberation Revolution.
In this respect, Attaf inspected the services of the Consulate General where he inquired about the services provided to members of the national community established in Tunisia.
He also met with deputies of the Algerian diaspora and representatives of the associative movement, with whom he discussed the concerns of Algerian citizens established in Tunisia.
