Exceptional Revision of Electoral Rolls on the Occasion of the Election of Members of the People’s National Assembly on 2 July 2026

Pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 21-01 of 26 Rajab 1442, corresponding to March 10, 2021, establishing the Organic Law on the Electoral System, as amended and supplemented, particularly Articles 62 and 65 thereof, and pursuant to Presidential Decree No. 26-145 of 16 Shawwal 1447, corresponding to April 4, 2026, convening the electorate for the election of members of the National People’s Assembly on Thursday, July 2, 2026,
The Embassy of Algeria in Brasília hereby informs all members of the Algerian community residing within its consular district (Brazil and Bolivia) that the special period for the revision of the electoral rolls will be open from April 12, 2026, to April 26, 2026.
Consequently, Algerian citizens registered with the Embassy’s consular services, particularly those who will have reached the age of eighteen (18) by July 2, 2026, and who have not yet registered on the voter rolls with the Embassy, are invited to visit the consular services to request their registration.
It should be noted that registration on the voter rolls or removal from them is carried out exclusively at the request of the interested party, accompanied by a document proving identity.
