The 24th edition of the International Tourism and Travel Fair represents the largest and most important tourism event organized annually in Algeria due to the number, variety and quality of the participants who participate. This year, it will be placed under the slogan "travel to the many facets of Algeria and enjoy authentic tourism and a civilization of millennia".

In this context, SITEV has acquired a notoriety that places it in pole position for tourist events in the Maghreb region. It also aims to promote the tourism sector and make the destination "ALGERIA" more and more known.

We are aware that this is a sector that is still in formation, but it is clear that a dynamic has begun to develop, mainly through the launch of considerable investments in the hotel industry, both in the public and private sectors, following the enormous facilitations granted by the State.

The challenge is to turn these opportunities into reality with the help of everyone, public authorities, professional associations, the banking system and companies.

Today, tourism is an engine of accelerated growth and a locomotive of the national integration of the entire economy, but also, and above all, an instrument of invaluable foreign exchange resources.

The 24th edition of the International Tourism and Travel Fair is intended to raise awareness of the entire national environment, whether public authorities or actors in the sector, to contribute to its promotion, influence and enhancement of the Algerian tourist offer. In addition to the exhibition itself, thematic conferences, artistic events, as well as meetings between operators in the national or foreign sector are planned.
