Mr. Chaib participates in the work of the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries

State Secretary to the Minister of Foreign Affairs in charge of the National Community Abroad, Mr. Sofiane Chaib,, will participate from 5 to 8 August in Awaza (Turkmenistan) in the 3rd UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC3).

Organized every ten years, the Conference will be held under the theme "Progressing through Partnerships", with the aim of "addressing the challenges faced by landlocked developing countries in order to achieve mutual sustainable development.

This high-level conference should lead to the announcement of the entry into force of the Awaza Programme of Action (PoA) (2024-2034), adopted by a resolution of the United Nations General Assembly last December.
