05 JULY 1962 - 2025 COMMEMORATION OF THE 63RD ANNIVERSARY OF INDEPENDENCE AND YOUTH DAY

The Algerian Embassy in Brazil celebrated on July the 5th, 2025, the 63rd anniversary of Independence and the recovery of national sovereignty. 

This year, the day was held under the theme: " Our Algeria, heritage of martyrs and glory of the loyal." The event was attended by members of the diplomatic mission and the military office, as well as members of the Algerian community in Brazil. The national flag was raised, the national anthem was played, a minute of silence was observed, and the opening verse of the Holy Quran was recited in memory of our righteous martyrs. This event culminated in a speech delivered by Counselor Mrs Emira Assia Dali on this occasion, in which she reminded that on this day, Algeria celebrates a glorious memory that has a deep meaning for all Algerians, the 63rd anniversary of Independence and the recovery of national sovereignty, the day on which the colonial occupation was expelled from our beloved homeland, fleeing defeat, because it found determined people who put their country first and committed themselves to liberating Algeria.
She added that as we celebrate this glorious memory, we remember the immortal deeds that our people have accomplished against colonialism and its mighty forces, continuing on the path of sacrifice and offering wave after wave of courageous martyrs to victory. 
She concluded that since the beginning of its independence, Algeria has sought to capitalize on these historic milestones that have elevated our people to the highest level of patriotism among the peoples of the Earth. 
And this investment has been based on loyalty to these bloodsheds for the homeland and sanctuary of the pure souls who have made the supreme sacrifice for the dignity of their land, their heaven and the destiny of their children.
Long live Algeria.
